Myopia Polo Magazine
Art Direction, Design, Photography, Identity, Print
Since 2012, Seven Elm has worked alongside publishers McLean Communications, a subsidiary of Yankee Publishing, to art direct, design, and produce the annual magazine and program for Myopia Polo Club, one of the oldest active polo clubs in the United States. We use a combination of archival art and original photography we commission throughout the polo season to deliver a publication that serves to celebrate both the rich history of the club and its home field in Hamilton, Massachusetts—which hosted the first formal intercollegiate game, a 1907 matchup between Harvard and Yale, as well as scenes from the 1967 film The Thomas Crown Affair—and its enduring place in New England summer culture.
